If you look at pkg.opensolaris.org, you'll see that many package
manifests contain information about both x86 and sparc specific files as
of build 106.
I don't know of any formal instructions, though Bart is the most
familiar with the process.
However, the basic idea is that you have two repositories: one you
publish to for sparc, and one you publish to for x86. Then you use the
util/publish/merge.py program in the pkg gate to merge the two
repositories.
