File a bug on bugs.opensolaris.org and hope that someone has the time to backport it? Taking bits from Solaris N and trying to run them on Solaris N-1 isn't supported, and very often won't work. You could ask on networking-discuss; I don't know if there's a more appropriate forum to find the engineers that might work on that.
