Hi all,

Not sure whether this issue has been reported yet. On my x86 system with osol0906 installed, the total number of packages are 1706. However there are quite a few SPARC pkgs exist from this list such as the following:
How did you find this number? Did you install redistributable? On my system, pkg list | wc -l gives 751.

* Package name starts with SUNW:

astfb, astfbcf, cg6, cg6h, efb, efbcf, efbw, fbc, kfb, kfbcf, kfbw, qfed, erid, ged, hmd, hmdu, pstl, efc, fruid, fruip, fs, idn, ldom, n2cp ,pdu, bcp, cti2, cvc, dcs, dscp, iopc, niumx, stc, us, ust, luxd, luxl, ssad, wbsd, drcr, drr, luxopr, sckm, sfdr, afb, afbcf, afbw, ffb, ffbcf, ffbw, gfb, gfbcf, gfbw, ifb, ifbcf, ifbw, jfb, jfbcf, jfbw,
m64, m64cf, m64w, nfb, nfbcf, nfbw, pfb, pfbw, pfbcf, zulu, zuluc, zuluw

Should the SPARC packages appear in x86 based system? '
Pkg should not have allowed you to install a sparc package on x86. If this is the case, please file a bug with steps to reproduce.

The 'osnet' package also produced the following error during 'pkg install':

Creating Plan /pkg: install failed (inventory exception):
No matching package could be found for the following FMRIs in any of the catalogs for the current publishers:
pkg:/SUNWadmj

What does pkg publisher -a show? You need to have the extra repo added as a publisher to install that package.

Regards,
Ben

Thanks,
Brock
