LGTM
I did install SUNWgnome-desklets to check if this fixes the problem.
Both install/remove changes the status correctly. The install icon
doesn't show that there are updates available, but this is another bug,
which is also logged in the defect.

This problem only occurs when using a repository which contains a
later version of the package than the one being installed. The fix is
to change the info call to get the state of the package to specify
that the information be retrieved locally.
