It would appear that there have been problems with pkg image-update recently and thus could well be client configuration errors, network issues, server end issues.
And I was wondering if there should be a 'debugging your pkg image-update problem' guide/faq or some such. In addition I wonder if there should be some more diagnostics built in that can be switched on to allow for some understanding of where the problem lies ?
