To reinforce what Danek suggests, if you could look at the latest
attachment to
bug #6186 (in particular:
http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/attachment.cgi?id=2144)
and map your existing package names to the full new names you'd like, that
would be really helpful.
Again as Danek notes, package refactoring is not happening at the same
time as
the Great Renaming. It's complicated enough as it is without adding that in.

You should look at the latest attachments to bug 6186, which is the WOS
package renaming bug. That doesn't do any refactoring, though; we want to
do this in two stages for what will hopefully be a lower problem rate.
Also note that we're doing heirarchical package names, so, for instance,
SUNWcpp is slated to become develop/macro/cpp (which you should still be
able to refer to with "cpp").
Splitting up the studio packages will be really nice -- the C compiler in
less than a couple hundred megs will be awesome.
