well, you have to have a copy of cc, and i was trying to create a
package that would install everything you need.  i looked at the ips
project page and it recommends either install ss-dev or gcc-dev.  ss-dev
installs sunstudioexpress so i went with that.  (the page doesn't say
anything about the cbe.)

would it be preferable to just leave sunstudioexpress out and then when
we update the docs we can also require that folks update the CBE?

unfortunatly yes.  it's some pod localization stuff.

i discovered all these dependencies by creating a zone and then trying
to build the package gate in there.

i originally had this listed under entire, but then i removed it because
i added in sunstudioexpress, which is not covered by entire.  (the
comment i read seemed to indicate that you could only be included in
entire if all your contents were also included in entire.)
