The multi-platform version of IPS supports Windows, Linux, Solaris, and
Mac OS X. We have not tested using it as a mirror for OpenSolaris, but
AFAIK there isn't any reason why it wouldn't work for that. Binary

Adriaan de Groot has a blog entry somewhere (I couldn't find it, though)
describing how he set up the IPS repository for KDE on bionicmutton.org
(which is a FreeBSD box).
