For the record, I didn't have to disable my repo first. So performing an update leaves me with a system restored to official stability and a list of packages in my local repo awaiting re-evaluation for re-installation. That's the desired outcome, really. Right now, part of re-installation would include re-publishing the packages with updated version numbers to match the current dev build. But, if I'm reading Bart's comment on bug 2610 [1] correctly, perhaps all I'd ultimately need to do is a 'pkg reinstall' for those I wished to restore.(??) If so, this whole process would be quite doable. Take care. --joanie [1] http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=2610#c4 _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list pkg-discuss@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
