Is there a utility in defining "cert" for the server, too? How would it
compare to "cert" on the client, and how would it relate to running a
server out of a client's directory? This question is probably mostly
puntable for now, but if you've given it any thought yet ...
I implicitly punted on that. Where certs belong is highly dependent (in
my mind) on whether they are publisher-specific.
If they are publisher-specific, and we intend for anyone to be able to
retrieve them, then I would suggest that the 'cert/' directory be moved
under the 'publisher/' directory in the proposal and relevant certs for
that publisher be stored there.

"trans" on the client?
That shouldn't be there; thanks.
