Most users will be happy to deal with high level presentations with
relatively few items to choose from. Some users will want lots of
detail. We get to aggregate things somewhat, though it will be a matter
of judgement to get the aggregations right.

High-level presentation:

 - pkg clusters that are appropriate for presentation to users that want
   little detail

 - facets that are appropriate for presentation..., or, rather, pks that
   enable facets.

Perhaps facets shouldn't be presented to users outright, but instead
choices of pkgs that enable facets.

 - pkg (and facet?) categories (from pkg metadata)

Low-level presentation:

 - all pkgs
 - all facets

How are the UIs to know which pkgs/facets belonw in the high-level
presentation? Probably through pkg metadata.

(Of course, ideally we'd have a single printing system that works for
everyone. But that doesn't mean that this problem of cluster/facet
selection shouldn't be solved -- we're bound to see situations like this
one come up again.)

Exactly.
