Cool ! That indeed worked. The only quirk was that it refused to boot
the zone after attach -u
zero:~$ pfexec zoneadm -z scoop boot
zoneadm: zone 'scoop': call to zoneadmd failed
zero:~$
After I rebooted the GZ everything became normal again.
