The "entire" package needs to be renamed, probably to "solaris", and it

Although we might be able to get away with "solaris" due to copyrights, I think we should keep in mind that we're setting precedent here that others will follow, and as such we should be establishing and following some Best Practices.

One BP ought to cover package/incorporation names. IMO all such names ought to be in a prefixed namespace. Just as we're continuing to use SUNW as a prefix for our package names I think it makes sense to use such a namespace prefix for all packages/incorporations, to avoid collisions with other consolidations.

"entire" is a perfect example of a bad incorporation name, I think (with benefit of hindsight, of course). Every consolidation would probably like an "entire" incorporation (I'm not suggesting we establish that name in particular as BP).

So, silly as it may look, I'd suggest SUNWsolaris for the incorporation name (or SUNWopensolaris, or whatever - I don't much care about the name itself as I do use of a namespace). If you want a different namespace for incorporations vs typical packages, create one, but lack of a namespace shouldn't imply an incorporation or it seems we're asking for trouble.
