You are running an older version of the package depot software, please
upgrade. You should run changeset 1490:45bde7229c4c from the pkg gate
to avoid several recently fixed bugs.
The 55,520 -> 1,998 is the result of a bug fix to have the depot index
page show the number of unique packages instead of number of package
versions.
