I followed the procedure in https://pkg.sun.com/register yesterday and it worked. Today when I tried the same command on a different machine, after typing the following
pfexec pkg set-authority \ -k /var/pkg/ssl/OpenSolaris_extras.key.pem \ -c /var/pkg/ssl/OpenSolaris_extras.certificate.pem \ -O https://pkg.sun.com/opensolaris/extra/ extra I received the the error message below: pkg: The origin URIs for 'extra' do not appear to point to a valid pkg server. Please check the server's address and client's network configuration. Additional details: Unable to contact valid package server: https://pkg.sun.com/opensolaris/extra/ Encountered the following error(s): Transport errors encountered when trying to contact depot server. Reported the following errors: https protocol error: code: 503 URL: 'https://pkg.sun.com/opensolaris/extra/versions/0/'. I searched this mailing list and found two similar questions, however none of those solutions works for me. Help please.
