Hi,

recently I upgraded my machine from build 127 to 130 and have found a
couple of problems. I don't know if this is the right place to ask (I only
subscribed to this list). If not, please tell me where to report:

1) The X server randomly hangs in build 130 after a couple of seconds when
logging in. The mouse cursor doesn't move anymore, and pressing CAPS lock
key on the keyboard doesn't change the keyboard LED state, i.e. pressing
keys doesn't have any effect.
Logging in from a remote machine via SSH I see lots of errors in
~/.xsession-errors saying that programs can't write to /tmp/.X11-pipe/X0.
Obvious reason when looking into that directory: That file isn't a pipe
anymore. Unfortunately I don't see any other errors.
I have to kill the Xorg process which is still running, and two or three
other processes started by Gnome.

A few of times I had to restart the GDM service because gdm or the X
server process crashed; don't know anymore why.

2) Starting Apache Web server in 64 bit mode doesn't work with mod_perl
enabled. The reason is quite simple:
/usr/apache/2.2/libexec/64/mod_perl.so is a 32-bit executable, and there's
no 64-bit version of Perl.

Therefore I switched back to build 129. Problem #1 doesn't occur, but #2
still remains...

Regards

Thorsten
