When searching in a single publisher the message in the status bar no longer contains the publisher name. Is this the expected behavior?
Had noticed that but thought it looked ok, have put it back in again, with your display name func and tested on All Publishers and single pubs with and without alias.

I think that you need to switch the order of catching the exceptions in installupdate.py as WrapSuccessfulIndexingException is a WrapIndexingException.

14230 PM should handle WrapSuccessfulIndexingException
14231 PM Search All Publishers status bar message inconsistent

Thanks.

There is a problem with the changes to installupdate.py. The code you changed is only executed when installing not up to date packages before restarting Package Manager. The call to plan_execute in continue_with_stages is the one which installs or removes packages.

Hi - webrev to cleanly handle non fatal indexing exceptions during the execute plan and also addresses a status bar message issue in search:

14230 PM should handle WrapSuccessfulIndexingException
