Hi .*,

i would like to setup a pkg/server in mirror mode.

But to get out to internet, i must use a http proxy.

Is there something like pkg/http_proxy ?

rsync is not an option as it takes forever to synchronize (tons of files).

Why not use the Debian way to get package, a simple file server for dpkg
files (http/ftp/whatever) ?

Although no formal instructions have been provided yet, you should be able to setup a caching web proxy such as squid, etc. and use that for your clients to connect to pkg.opensolaris.org for all clients using builds 128+. However, I'll warn you that you need a very large cache and it will require cache configuration tweaks.
