I've a wad for pkgmogrify to take care of the following:
14052 pkgmogrify: extended output capabilities could simplify complex
publication makefiles
16022 pkgmogrify should be able to reference package attributes
16024 pkgmogrify abort operation isn't particularly useful

There are a bunch of examples in the manpage, many of which are stolen from
my wad to create IPS packages as part of the build, but you can see a

For folks working on ON packaging, let me know if there are further changes
which would make your lives better. They may not make it into this wad,
but I might do a quick follow-up ...
