For now, let's stick to error messages without the codes. Most of the rest of Solaris works this way, and until there's higher-level guidance that we should be using codes in addition, I'd like not to use them.
The messages are supposed to be user-friendly and solution-oriented so that they don't result in a customer call in the first place. If they're not, then in most cases we need to do a better job crafting the messages.
