The webrev, http://cr.opensolaris.org/~padraig/ips-16511-v1/, fixes 16511 pm-updatemanager has performance problem with locales
This webrev reduces the amount of CPU used by the GUI when downloading packages. This is done by only updating the GUI every 200 ms downloading data. This reduces by about 80% the CPU usage when downloading.
