Hi Peter,

Thanks a lot, finally I got it. I apologize for this post, it was all my fault. There are two workspaces in 'builds' directory - 6799734_vsx_recv and 6799734_vsx_easy, and I exchanged the former with the latter, I was doing update from different repository than I was looking at...

I am really sorry for this, but still thanks a lot for having a look,

Regards,
Stanislav

Hi Stanislav,

I had a look at your repo and you appear to have a 158 build in there
as opposed to a 159:

$ cd /net/snx...
$ pkgrecv -s `pwd`/repo.redist --newest | grep osnet
pkg://on-nightly/consolidation/osnet/[email protected],5.11-0.158:20110121T175207Z
....

Thus the error below.

The version of the osnet-incorporation above actually matched what
was on your machine already.

Hi Bart,

At the beginning, there was only one publisher:

[sk241403@va64-x4200b-prg06 ~]$ pkg publisher
PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI
solaris (preferred) origin online http://ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/dev/solaris/

But the onu script I was using set two other publishers (this was in
output I sent in original mail), so at the end there are three publishers:

pkg -R /tmp/onu.2PaGPd publisher
PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI
on-nightly (preferred) origin online
file:///net/snvx.czech.sun.com/builds/sk241403/6799734_vsx_recv/packages/i386/nightly-nd/repo.redist/

on-extra origin online
file:///net/snvx.czech.sun.com/builds/sk241403/6799734_vsx_recv/packages/i386/nightly-nd/repo.extra/

solaris (non-sticky) origin online http://ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/dev/solaris/

When I tell pkg to update 'osnet-incorporation', I am told:

pkg -R /tmp/onu.2PaGPd update -v --accept
[email protected],5.11-0.159
Creating Plan
pkg update: '[email protected],5.11-0.159' matches no installed
packages

Is there a way how to get what pkg is doing, which packages were
detected as installed, which were found in the repository and why these
were not installed?

Thanks for help,
Stanislav

Can you show the output of pkg publisher?

Often times telling pkg what you're trying to do will be very useful:

pkg -R /tmp/onu.j3aqvc update [email protected],5.11-0.159
