Padraig - few comments:
- I would scroll to the added publisher and highlight it once the add
dialog goes.
- I would put an if statement around the setup of the new pub checking
on self.new_pub != None. (#476)

The problem was that when a publisher was added from the Manage
Publishers dialog the list of publishers was not updated to include
the added publisher.
