Those flag day contents look good to me. I've filed a bug which I think we should mention in the flag day: 18272 pkg.sysrepo can't proxy publishers that are redirected In particular, this affects users who use http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/on-nightly and http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/on-extra and so could be relevant for a decent proportion of our early users. Here's some suggested additional text for the flag day - -------- Please note, that in order to work around the following bug: 18272 pkg.sysrepo can't proxy publishers that are redirected users of the ON nightly repositories will need to run the following commands in their global zones in order for non-global zones to reach their publishers: # pkg -R / set-publisher \ -g http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/internal/solaris11/on/extra \ -G http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/on-extra on-extra # pkg -R / set-publisher \ -g http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/internal/solaris11/on/nightly \ -G http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/on-nightly on-nightly Other repositories configured in the global zone may need similar workarounds - checking the system repository log files in /var/log/pkg/sysrepo/access_log for the scenario described in the bug report will show the URL that the clients are being redirected to, but for which the system repository is returning a 404. ------- cheers, tim _______________________________________________ pkg-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-discuss
