This may already be in an FAQ or other document, but I did go looking, couldn't find it, and would appreciate a pointer.

I am building a package within ON. An s11 IPS package is created. However, when I try to install the package from my workspace onto a system with stock s11 installed, the operation fails because the versions don't match. I believe this is benign and am willing to deal with the consequences.

The test system was upgraded to build 169 and the version of repository I'm trying to install from (in my workspace) appears to be 170 (as indicated by FMRI of the package, which is pkg://on-extra/system/fault-management/[email protected],5.11-0.170:20110712T234627Z) . Is there some variable I can set in my build environment in order to decree that it is 169? or a way of changing the IPS packages so that they are accepted on 169?

Please respond directly to me, as I am not currently subscribed to either caiman-discuss or pkg-discuss.

thanks in advance!
