The reason is, that IDRs were traditionally built from proto area and a
list of files to be delivered. That proves to be difficult with the new
Userland gate, so I'm looking for other ways. I was thinking of creating
normal pkg repository and then remove all the files which don't need to
be there. But probably there's no interface to that.
How dangerous and difficult would be to try to manually alter all the
index files in pkg repository?
Sounds incredibly dangerous and stupid. Just give the customer the package
you built. Problem solved.
If you try to deliver a sparse package you will REMOVE the other files from
the customers system.
