on Mon Oct 31 16:51:35 2011
I was pointed to CR
7100168 /var/pkg/pkg5.image file corrupted and system-repository lands
into maintenance state
and does see the /var/pkg/pkg5.image on this node is corrupted. It was
not manually edited so must be some commands updated it.

Is there a chance that /var somehow didn't get mounted? The packaging
