Sounds right to me. Just one nit:
$ pkg publisher
PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS P LOCATION
test origin online T http://foo/
test origin online T http://foo/
$ pkg set-publisher --no-refresh -G http://foo test
pkg set-publisher: Repository origin 'http://foo/' matches more than one
origin
It would be nice if the message could mention the fact that the failure is
due to multiple origins with different proxies.
Another suggestion:
pkg set-publisher --no-refresh -G http://foo --proxy \* test
would remove all http://foo origins for the test publisher, regardless of
proxy (or not proxy).
Are we ever going to do anything useful with (or get rid of) the status
column?
The eventual plan was to leverage that column once we make transport
statistics more persistent. The status would then reflect the
persistent state of transport.
But we've been saying that for a long time now; I'm just loathe to
change the output at this point since it breaks parsing.
