It would also be useful to pkgadd each package separately, and sanity
check (pkg info pkg; svcs -xv manifest-import; bootadm update-archive)
after each pkgadd completes.

I checked the i586 packages, and they should be using the correct
manifest class action scripts, so that's an occasional source of error
that can be eliminated.
