Hi,
I just tested 'dh_dkms -V' (without version argument) in fglrx-driver
(1:12-1-2) and the result was
/usr/src/fglrx-1:12-1/dkms.conf
with
PACKAGE_VERSION="1:12-1"
and maintainer scripts with
DKMS_VERSION=1:12-1
This is not the result I expected: the epoch should be included nowhere.
quoting dh_dkms(1):
-V, -V version
If "PACKAGE_VERSION" in dkms.conf is set to "#MODULE_VERSION#",
set it to the given version or, if none is given, default to the
upstream version of the current package.
quoting policy 5.6.12 Version:
The format is: [epoch:]upstream_version[-debian_revision]
Using 'dh_dkms -V 12-1' works as expected.
