I forwarded this bug upstream because i ran into debian bugs to see if this one was reported.
after sending upstream, i saw that this is supported by email notify[1] , that i think is not in debian [2]. So, i this this wishlist item is, first, if evolution mantainers could bring email notify to debian (currently as i could see version latest is 3.0rc2, so there is coming a version 3 final) and, to upstream is to integrate email notify within evolution.
