Alright, then I wish a tooltip for this in a future release. ;) > I can't reproduce this. I originally wanted to rant about the missing "hint" how to use the address:port syntax in the mailserver setup window. Thus I searched for existing bug reports against evolution and stumbled upon #432584, reported by Robert Kroiss on 10 Jul 2007, which describes a similar problem. However, he found out that the port given in the address line is simply ignored as long as the standard port is available. I have to admit I have blindly taken this for true and added a rant about this to my initial rant about the missing tooltip. I am sorry if this issue has been fixed in the meantime and is not true anymore. Cheers, Fabian -- Dipl.-Phys.
