Package: evolution
Version: 2.2.1.1-0ubuntu4
Severity: normal
I am using evolution with an IMAP folder (courier-imapd). Using just
evolution it works fine, but when I access the email with another
client (Outlook on a PDA), the Spam from the Junk folder is placed back
into the Inbox: it appears to be just labelled as spam, and not stored
in a real folder. So I have to hunt for my real mails amongst the spam;
these tags are not honoured by non-Evolution clients, and they appear to
be lost when I go back to evolution, so all my spam is dumped back into
my inbox again.
It would be better to create an actual spam folder and place the spam
in it.
Regards
Alastair

I just found that since a recent upgrade, you can configure the Spam
folder to be a real folder, somewhere in the Mail settings.
