Theoretically 0.6 should be as happy on Windows as 0.4 was ;) we just haven't (yet) provided installer ... let me look into it
BUT, for the best experience we do recommend GNU/Linux, Debian in particular, or its derivatives such as Ubuntu if desired. Pros: installation of pymvpa as any other software is a breeze: sudo apt-get install python-mvpa-snapshot Meanwhile, on Windows, to not bother dual-booting anything, you could give a try to our neurodebian virtual appliance: http://neuro.debian.net/vm.html NB for now please try with VirtualBox from 3.2 series: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_3_2 so that shared folder functionality works out of the box with our virtual machine appliance On Sat, 21 May 2011, ChangLin Li wrote: > Hi > Does pymvpa 0.6.x just buil for linux? > If so how can I install it at windows? -- =------------------------------------------------------------------= Keep in touch www.onerussian.com Yaroslav Halchenko www.ohloh.net/accounts/yarikoptic _______________________________________________ Pkg-ExpPsy-PyMVPA mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-exppsy-pymvpa
