this is ok, since fso-gpsd is usually started before fso-frameworkd. > Mar 14 12:35:21 debian-gta02 fso-gpsd[1567]: WARNING: Timeout: device started > but not > connected > Mar 14 12:35:22 debian-gta02 fso-gpsd[1567]: WARNING: Timeout: device started > but not > connected > > which probably refers to > http://gypsy.freedesktop.org/reference/html/gypsy-design.html Hmm, frameworkd's ogpsd implements the gypsy interface. > and as I read about it here > http://bzed.de/posts/2009/02/why_you_should_use_gpsd_over_gypsy/ > > I should not be worried, this tell me. How can I switch on some kind of a log file? Please read the output of `fso-gpsd -h`. You might also want to set "log_level = DEBUG" for ogpsd in frameworkd.conf. And there were some gps related bug fixes around 2 weeks ago. So in case you don't already have a recent frameworkd, install an up to date version from git. Maybe we should update the debian package as well? Joachim?
