I needed to smile a bit. The power status is undecided. An exception is ok. To "just deal with it" as suggested with [3] does not sound like you, really :) I just don't know why this observation of a N/A GetPower() needs to be redone again and again. The openmoko-panel should turn off anything that requests the power info. Or it should ask only every 100th time and not respawn the initialisation of the desktop bus over and over again. Btw, I presume that this is why the GPS fixes don't get through. I had implemented your suggested deconfiguration and will now boot into Debian to learn if it works. If so, then I'll quietly place it in install.sh, too.
