--- Begin Message ---Package: uboot-envtools Version: 20081215-2 Severity: wishlist Hi folks! I've been helping a bit on the u-boot package which was put together by Clint; it's built from the upstream u-boot tree, using released tarballs and is quite up-to-date. The "mkimage" tool to manipulate u-boot images used to be provided by a forked source in Debian in the uboot-mkimage package, but this is now built from u-boot proper. I'd like to offer to do the same thing for uboot-envtools. I checked the tree, and the souce seems pretty much identical to upstream u-boot 71edc271816ec82cf0550dd6980be2da3cc2ad9e from Mon Oct 13 14:12:55 2008. There are a couple of patches to help the build, the Makefile stuff is just useful to build out of tree and then there's an old crc32.c change which seems correct, but doesn't appear to be needed to build u-boot any idea whether that's still relevant? The packaging would of course have to be merged; the uboot-envtools-examples/ notably, and the README.Debian snippet, but also the man pages which I'd hope to upstream. What do you folks think? Thanks! -- Loïc Minier

--- Begin Message ---Version: 2013.01.01-4 The transitional uboot-envtools was dropped from the source package over a year ago, and the functionality included in u-boot-tools for even longer... I think this is done. live well, vagrant
