Unfortunately I don't think I'll help too much, I just want to fixup the git repository, and help in packaging in case of troubles (and this should be done at this moment) (BTW I started contributing in this way in other programs and I finished as upstream developer, nevermind)
just a question, is this ubuntu delta https://launchpadlibrarian.net/172213397/gambas.debdiff2 really needed? I would like to ask for a plain sync, but I need to prior understand the root of the delta...
