Even if the root of that claim is propably right, it's a highly
demotivating comment that makes me reconsider wether I really want to
invest the time to work on it ...

 I am trying to find out wether the claim that the fteqcc is really
outdated is proper. Restructuring of the package can always get
postponed and shouldn't be a reason to delay it any further - but I'll
try to coordinate with Fuddl about it, even though the comment wasn't
helpful.
