Yes, installing libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio fixed it. Though I understand the bug is not with Wesnoth, but with the sdl-alsa package, would it be possible to make a libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio a required package for Wesnoth, at least until sdl-alsa is fixed?
