As far as I can see from the code, this should be fixed in version 0.8.5 - unless you're setting bot_developer to 1, in which case don't do that :-)
-- Repeatedly/annoyingly creates ./botlib.log file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/434448 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debian/Ubuntu Games Team, which is subscribed to openarena in ubuntu. Status in “openarena” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: openarena This concerns openarena 0.8.1-1 in Jaunty. I play single-player games against computer opponents regularly, and one thing I've noticed is that after exiting the game, I'll find a newly-created file "botlib.log" in the current directory ($HOME if the game was started from the menu). This is a plain-text file containing what appear to be config directives. This file is useless to me, I did not request its creation (as opposed to e.g. a screen shot), I don't want it showing up in my home directory, and there does not appear to be a way to configure the game not to create it. The FreeBSD folks appear to have addressed this with a patch: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-ports-bugs/2005-December/074224.html _______________________________________________ Pkg-games-ubuntu mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-games-ubuntu
