i would prefer if was possible to install a somewhat usable setup from within debian/ubuntu -- including song and thus packaging the available songs (even if it were only the libre ones).
users would still be wondering how they could add "their" songs and be in the same position as the are now (except for the mentioned message). plus having the BIG advantage of already having something "minimally useful". if the missing message is a big problem then create a patch that displays that message if there are less than ten songs. and maybe include some information in the manpage. -- performous does not include content (songs, ...) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500268 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debian/Ubuntu Games Team, which is subscribed to performous in ubuntu. Status in “performous” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: performous performous does not include any game content (i.e. songs, ...) and is thus quite unusable after installation. there should be packages for at least the free songs listed at http://performous.org/songs.html and these packages should be required or recommended/suggested by performous. the documentation concerning "you first need to get some songs before using performous" should be improved! _______________________________________________ Pkg-games-ubuntu mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-games-ubuntu
