This works fine in FF4 et al, likely a Chromium bug. Note that this doesn't currently request the webfonts. What might be happening is that it's fetching the advance metrics from Ubuntu and rendering Ubuntu Light, but I'd expect that to move things in the /other/ direction and Ubuntu Light is slightly narrower.
