This bug report was filed against an old version of Ubuntu.
Can you confirm whether this is still an issue in natty?

If you don't mind, it would be very helpful if you could update the bug
report in launchpad to 'Fix Released' if it is no longer an issue for
you, or if it is still occurring under natty, please tag the bug 'natty'
so it's easier for us to track.

Title:
  [Hardy]Glest crashes with Segmentation fault

Status in “glest” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in “linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I am using Hardy amd64 with all updates applied and Glest
  3.0.0-0ubuntu1.

Whenever I start a game in Glest and try to send a unit to do
something, Glest crashes instantly when the red arrow appears, showing
where the unit is going. I did use autoconfig in the in-game menu (as
proposed in the man entry), which recognized my ATI card and set the
  number of lights to 1.
