Title:
openarena incompatible with compiz

Status in “openarena” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Openarena has compatibility issues with compiz, to begin with it
renders fine, but if you move the mouse too fast you get a black
screen with a few artefacts which make the game unusable. I can
replicate this using both the intel and ati drivers, I haven't tested
with fglrx and can't replicate this with nvidia.
If there is no simple way to solve this then a workaround could be to
modify the launch script to run metacity --replace on launching and
then restore compiz on exit.
