Simutrans implements a lot of its game UI in-window, with little orange window titlebars you can use to drag regions around. When you maximize the window, this no longer works. It does work if you keep the window at its original geometry. If you resize, it ceases to interpret mouse input properly. If you de-maximize, the game becomes invisible and it has to be quit from the launcher.
