Thinking about this some more... I'm pretty sure this is some kind of racecondition.

OGRE applications now work fine for me. And closing them works too without problems when doing it via the window-titlebar or inside the app. But when I want to close the Application using the context menu in the launcher "quit", compiz itself crashes. OGRE however, exits without errors. I'm not sure whats the reason for this, nor if this is a compiz, unity or ogre bug. I am using the open-source radeon driver.
