I installed the same 64bit 12.04 on my PC and laptop. Goplay was empty on both, found this page and tried the fix sudo ept-cache reindex command not found.
Relaunched goplay on my PC and it now shows a bunch of games. Tried the same on my laptop, same result, but it is still blank. I tried installing axi-cache, and checked the man page but did not see anything for reindex. I removed and re-installed goplay to no avail. What happened instead: After launching goplay for the first time, it opened a popup window saying that it requires manual ept-cache reindex on the first start. Hence I did following: > sudo ept-cache reindex Reading current timestamp failed: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/var/lib/apt-xapian-index/update-timestamp'. Assuming the index has not been created yet. Rebuilding Xapian index: done. After launching the program again, I got an empty window with no games descriptions, see attachment.
