tag2upload is not a way to get things into Debian without being an
authorised uploader. Permission to push to the salsa repository is
not enough - you still need a sponsor. You should talk to your usual
sponsor(s).
Whoever approves the actual upload should choose a new version number,
and make a new changelog stanza. That could be indeed done with
tag2upload, by your sponsor.
