My understanding is that debcheckout fails for all packagews with "Vcs-Git: https://"; instead of "Vcs-Git: git://". Also it breaks VCS links in DDPO. For now I'm ignoging Lintian warning that suggests GIT → HTTPS transition for Vcs-Git URLS but some packages were already updated...
